Quiet Pandemonium

I Hope They Call Me On A Mission-#write31days

write-31-days-2016

Once again, I am participating in the Write 31 Days blog challenge.  I have done this the past couple of years, but honestly, I’ve never really finished it.  I’ve failed the challenge each and every year.  My intention this year is to actually finish it for the first time.

This page will act as the Landing Page for this challenge.  You can find all of the posts for the challenge here.  I will be linking the posts after they are live on the blog.  This way you can choose to read them all in order, which I hope you will do, or jump around at will.  Your choice!

So why on earth did I choose this particular topic?  Well, in thinking about what on earth I would write about for 31 days this week, I took my quest to Facebook.  I asked my friends what they would want to hear me talk about for 31 days straight.  Of course I had the usual “writing” requests.  But I sort of did that topic last year.  I was thinking about how to twist and mold that again.  But then one of my friends mentioned that she would love to hear about the LDS Mission program.  And then another friend chimed in that she also agreed.  She had grown up with a few LDS members in school, but she really didn’t know much about the LDS faith or the mission program.  Since I have served a LDS mission, my husband has served a LDS mission, and my son just started serving a LDS Service Mission, I knew this was something I could easily talk about for the next 31 days.

I encourage you to ask sincere questions at the bottom of each post if you have any.  I will do my very best to provide those sincere questions with sincere answers.  I will sweetly and kindly request that any flaming or general ugliness about my faith be kept off of this blog.  Those comments will be removed or not approved.  I will maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere here.  Thanks so much for your cooperation in this!
