I have decided to share a 72 day daily challenge with you each day until Easter, April 1st. We are doing this in our Relief Society, and I thought I would like to share it here as well. I shared a little about the challenge here.
Each day I will share the daily video here and then my personal thoughts about it after I have personally watched it. Today is Day 29.
Calming the Tempest
The disciples’ faith is tested before Jesus calms the stormy sea.
Mark 4:37-40
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
My Impressions:
This reminds me that the Lord always has the power to still the storms in my life. But I have to have faith that it will all be ok as long as I invite Him to be a part of my life. He will guide my ship and lead me to safety. I just have to have faith in Him and His power. I have to believe even when it is scary. He can and will bring peace to my soul.
