I have decided to share a 72 day daily challenge with you each day until Easter, April 1st. We are doing this in our Relief Society, and I thought I would like to share it here as well.  I shared a little about the challenge here.

Each day I will share the daily video here and then my personal thoughts about it after I have personally watched it. Today is Day 14.

Follow Me, and I Will Make You Fishers of Men

Jesus calls Peter, Andrew, James, and John to follow Him.

Matthew 4: 18-22

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers .

19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee , and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

My Impressions:

I was struck by how they immediately recognized who He was and obeyed their call to serve.  There was no question.  They just immediately did as they were asked.

My mother always taught me to accept callings and do them to the best of my ability.  Seeing this video and reading these scriptures just affirms what I have been taught all my life.  Go and do.
