It’s been awhile since I have written anything on my blog. I just sort of disappeared, I know. But I thought I might tell you what has been going on now that I am back.
I got pretty overwhelmed with everything on my plate. Finishing up our last year of homeschooling has been a big job. And I’ve been swamped with stuff for Home & School Mosaics. Add in some health issues, and it was recipe for disaster. Something had to give, and unfortunately, it was my blog, and all of my writing. I just haven’t been able to do it.
The good news is that my health is improving, and I have been rearranging priorities. We have just about a month of school left. We graduate on May 16, 2015. Yes, I said WE. We are both ending our homeschooling journey once my son graduates high school. We plan to party. It’s been a great 8 years. But we are ready to move on to other things. Hopefully even better things.
The good news is that I will definitely be spending MORE time on my writing and pen names. I have a rigorous publishing schedule, complete with deadlines for the rest of this year. I hope I can keep up. If not, I’ll revise a little. But I really, really, really want to keep up. It should be fabulous. If all goes well, I’ll be debuting my new pen name the end of this month. I am pushing hard for this. I want it. I’ll share more about that once I have final drafts ready to publish.
I’ll try to share in the next couple of weeks what we are doing for graduation too. So you can look forward to that. We ordered announcements earlier this week and they are on their way to us. I’m pretty excited about them. Chandler helped design them every step of the way. He is getting excited. I’m glad, because he seemed to not care a lot earlier this year. Now that it is getting closer, he is ready to say what he wants. That makes it a little easier.
I will be having another giveaway soon for a set of Love Inspired books. Yes…a set. SIX paperback books. I know that will excite some of you. Keep an eye out for this giveaway. It should pop up within the next week or so. It should be FUN!
