I’ve been keeping a brisk posting schedule here for 2017. After 2 months, I decided to evaluate how things are going and after much thought, I am going to make a few changes. Looking at my blog stats, I can see which posting days are the most popular, and which days are kind of falling flat. No sense in keeping up the pace if no one is liking what I am doing. I mean, why go to all that work, right?
So here is what I am keeping:
Sundays I have been posting Sunday Inspirations–This is a popular day here on my blog. These posts are easy for me to do, and they seem to be blessing others. So I will continue to keep posting these each and every Sunday.
Mondays bring Menu Plan Monday–This is by far my most popular day here. It seems that lots of people like to see what we are eating here in my house. Since menu planning is a necessity for me, and since it is so popular, you can rest easy that this will continue to post every week on Mondays.
Tuesdays are my promotional days— These are well received and honestly, I like promoting the books of other authors as well as the books that my family members write. And mine will be appearing here soon too! So Tuesdays are safe.
Wednesdays have been inspirational posts–usually about my faith or something to do with it. I’ve been posting some Family Home Evening Lessons this past month. Honestly, these lessons take some time to plan out and they don’t seem to be very popular with my readers. So I am going to save myself a lot of trouble, and discontinue this theme as a regular thing on my blog. I need to figure out what to do about Wednesdays.
Thursdays are my recipe posting days–I try to post things we like to eat and several readers seem to like these as well. Since this is the way I keep favorite recipes where I won’t lose them, I will continue to post recipes here. Maybe I’ll move these to Wednesdays. Not sure yet.
Fridays I have been doing 5 Things Friday–These have been hit and miss. I had considered making this a linkup meme, but I am not too sure at the moment. I am not seeing enough traffic to justify continuing this meme, though I have had fun doing it. So this one is up in the air at the moment.
Saturdays I had deemed Happy Saturday–This was the day each week that I posted a video of whatever nature that I had seen recently and liked. Apparently, no one ever visits my blog on Saturdays and no one watches the videos. So I will save myself some time and this day and meme will be ending immediately. It just makes sense to get rid of it.
So that leaves us basically with Wednesdays and Fridays that I am wondering what I will be doing here on the blog. I may continue 5 Things Friday, but I need to think about it some more. It can be saved, but I need input from my readers on what they think about it. Should I keep it? Should I make it a linkup? Or should I find something else to do on Fridays? Thoughts?
What else would you like to see more of here or instead of here on Quiet Pandemonium?
