As part of the TOS Homeschool Crew, I was given the opportunity to sign up for a trial period with Time4Learning. I have decided to do this particular review over the course of 4 weeks in order to fill you in on all of the latest details with this program.I won’t assign any gold teacher’s stars until my final review of the product. This week I will talk a little about our excitement in getting to try the program and the registration process.
We were very excited about this opportunity in our homeschool as we have heard many great things about this program. I previously considered using it as our core program, but I wasn’t sure about the program, so I ordered what I had originally intended for our school year this year. When this opportunity presented itself, both my son and I smiled. We were going to find out what this program could do!
The registration process was fairly simple. We were all activated and ready to go within about 24 hours. We were originally told it could take up to 3 days, so we were pleasantly surprised. During the registration process, you are given the opportunity to place your child in the level that best suits them. I took some time and read through the scope and sequence pages for the 6th grade. It seemed like a great fit, so I chose to enroll my son in the program for 6th grade. However, the nice thing about Time4Learning, is that you can adjust the grade level up or down according to your child’s needs and abilities.
All in all, I would have to say that registration was a pretty painless process. Next week I will tell you a little about our initial reactions to the program and what we have learned about it thus far. I will say that it is looking pretty good so far!
