The Gift of Love is a DVD by See The Light. It is an artistic journey set to the story of the birth of Christ. As the scripture story unfolds, you are treated to the creation of chalk drawings that show the story you are listening to on the DVD. I thought it was a nice way to tell the story of the Savior’s birth.
But while this was a nice feature, the true value in the DVD are the art lessons that are included with step by step instructions for the children. The master artists show and teach how to draw pictures that explore the Christmas story. You learn creative lettering in one lesson, a manger scene using colored pencils in another, and a portrait of Mary using chalk-art techniques. My son thoroughly enjoyed the art lessons this past week.
Now, here is the good news! I have been authorized to give away a free copy of The Gift of Love DVD to one of my readers! Please leave a separate comment for each entry.
