This week I will be spending time canning, canning, and yes–canning. I have a lot on my plate that I need to get put up. Here’s hoping I have the strength and stamina to make it all happen.
I have a new calling at church. I am now in the presidency for the Young Women. That means I get to not only be with the girls on Sunday, but also on Wednesday nights for our activities. And our presidency has decided to meet about an hour before the girls arrive on Wednesday nights. So my Wednesday nights are going to be busy. That means I will be relying on crock pot meals for that day each week. I did a trial run last week, which was my first busy Wednesday night, and it worked fabulously. I just need to remember to get things done and in the crock pot early enough those days and I should be good.
Here is what is on our menu for this week:
Cold Cereal, Milk
Eggs, Sausage, Toast
Chicken Nuggets, Tater Tots
Hoagie Sandwiches, Chips
Cheddar Dogs, Chips
Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Corn on the Cob
