We had a lot of family visiting this week. They came in order to visit with my Father-in-law one last time before he passes on. He is getting weaker as the days go by, though he doesn’t like to admit to anything. Menu changed a bit last week because of it. But though I don’t like to let a menu plan go to waste, I am tired of writing down those exact foods. So we are changing things up anyway this week. We also have a birthday this weekend. My son is turning 17. He has plans for us all to go to the movies on Saturday evening, so we are going to have his actual Birthday dinner on Sunday. We tend to not eat a lot on movie nights because we fill up on popcorn. Well, Gary and I do. Chandler doesn’t like popcorn. He usually just eats a sandwich those nights before we go. It works. I decided we would just have one of his favorite sandwiches that night–Philly Cheese Steak. And with us having his request of a Beef Roast & Veggies for his Birthday dinner, he is looking forward to the weekend. He should be one happy boy.

Popcorn Chicken, Tater Tots
Beef Stroganoff, Noodles
Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Corn
Sweet & Sour Chicken, Rice
Fish & Chips
Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches
Chandler’s Birthday Dinner-Roast Beef & Veggies, Homemade Bread, Chocolate Cake & Homemade Ice Cream
