This week I will be doing a lot of canning and preserving. I love to put up food for our family to eat during the winter months. It is satisfying and it really cuts down on our grocery budget. I like not having to worry about what we will eat if something should happen. It’s a nice feeling.
I feel that way about menu planning as well. Although I will admit is isn’t quite as good as having preserved food on the shelves. But it is probably a close second.
Here is what we are having for dinner this week:
Monday— Chicken Fajitas, Chocolate Chip Cookies
Tuesday– Beef Teriyaki Stirfry
Wednesday– Tortilla Pizzas
Friday– Fried Ham & Potatoes
Sunday–Grilled Pork Chops, Butternut Squash, Corn on the Cob, Tapioca Pudding
