This week is exciting for us for a couple of reasons. First of all, TODAY is Chandler’s Hump Day on his mission. He is now officially at the halfway mark of his 2 year service mission. We are celebrating today with his favorite dinner and a new dessert that looked good to all of us. He said it was a sugar coma waiting to happen and he wanted it. So I will be making it today. Haha
This weekend we will be able to watch the semi-annual General Conference for our church. We are really looking forward to that. We love hearing from the prophet and the apostles and other church leaders. The Womens session of conference was actually this past Saturday night. I will be sharing some picture memes from that conference on Wednesday of this week. Anyway, we always plan on having a turkey dinner on that Sunday because we are able to watch it from home and I can babysit the turkey, and we love that meal. So we are excited about that as well.
Later this morning, I will be having my annual eye exam, or annual torture visit as I prefer to call it. I always have to have my eyes dilated, and I hate that. At least it is rainy and cloudy today, so it won’t be too bright for me after the fact. Wish me luck!
