This week we are going to be traveling for three of our meal days. So I won’t be cooking, and we will be eating out. That makes menu planning easy this week!
On another note, I got my Bountiful Baskets order on Saturday. It was even better than the first one! We had fresh corn on the cob Saturday at lunch and yesterday we ate some yummy brussel sprouts and butternut squash. They are now going to be delivering weekly at separate locations in my area. So I will be placing my order for this week in just a few minutes. I am going to just plan all of my meals around what we get in our basket each week.
Here is what we are having for dinner in our home this week:
Monday–Hamburgers, Coleslaw, Chips
Tuesday– On the Road–Eating Out
Wednesday— On the Road–Eating Out
Thursday–On the Road–Eating Out
Friday-Baked Chicken, Butternut Squash, Salad, Apple Pie Bites and Vanilla Ice Cream
Saturday-Homemade Pizza with Whole Wheat Crust (this went over well last week, but I want to try a different crust recipe), Pink Lemonade Slush w/twist of Fresh Lime
Sunday–Roast Beef and Veggies, Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream
