I have a repeat dinner from last week’s menu because the boys requested it. They don’t usually do that so quickly, but I guess it hit the spot. And the item is also on sale at the store, so score! We also didn’t have our pizza last week as planned because we will be taking Chandler to a Dr. appointment on late Tuesday afternoon and we are planning on getting pizza that evening instead. So we splurged and had steak instead. Not a bad substitution in my opinion. All the food juggling keeps life interesting, I suppose.
This week I am finally feeling so much better! That flu stuff is horrible and I have complete empathy for anyone who has had it. Luckily the boys both seem to be unscathed by my bitter round with it. I still have the cough, but expect that to last for awhile.
This weekend brings our Semi-Annual General Conference for our church. Since we watch this over a broadcast on the TV, I generally plan on having a turkey dinner with all the fixings on those Sundays. This year is no different. We are all anticipating a great meal on Sunday. Some traditions are just too good to skip, you know?

Wednesday: Crockpot Beef Tips & Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus
Thursday: Kielbasa, Cabbage & Potato Burritos
Friday: Meatloaf, Baked Potatoes, Salad
Saturday: Hoagie Sandwiches, Chips
Sunday: Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Veggie Tray
