Well, we are back after a whirlwind trip for the past two weeks. We covered 4000 miles in just 13 days. It was fun, but I am glad to be back and planning some home cooked meals. I am actually quite sick of eating out in restaurants.
The good thing about coming back home is that prior to leaving on our trip, I cleaned and defrosted our big chest freezer. I really organized everything in there and now it is so easy to find things for meals. When we got home, we scrubbed out the refrigerator, so we are starting all fresh and clean there as well. It kind of makes cooking meals fun. It is a nice way to start after being gone so long.

Monday- Tacos, Strawberry-Peach Shortcake
Tuesday-Chef Salad, Ciabatta Bread
Wednesday-Spaghetti, Salad, Ciabatta Bread
Friday-Grilled Chicken, Summer Squash, Salad
Saturday-Baked Pork chops, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Salad
Sunday-Roasted Cornish Game Hens, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Raspberry Pie
