This week is surely shaping up to be a busy one. I am so glad that I am planning my menus so that I can stay on top of the situation and still feed the family something yummy. I still have visions of being the perfect wife and mother. I dream of being that mom from the 50’s and 60’s sitcoms and then reality comes crashing in on my 2010 reality. Between homeschooling, my job with TOS Magazine and helping my husband start up a gardening business online, how would I ever become June Cleaver? Throw in church responsibilities and my family is lucky I bother to feed them at all. Someday I will probably even manage to finally clean this house spic and span.
You probably don’t really want to know all of that about my life as a circus mom. Balancing on that high wire is precarious at best. So here is what I have planned this week for the daily ritual we call dinner.
Monday–Vegetable Beef Soup, Breadsticks, Apple Pie Bites and Vanilla Ice Cream
Tuesday– Chili Mac, Cheesy Salad
Wednesday–Creamy Beef and Pasta (Crockpot meal), Cheesy Salad, French Bread
Thursday–Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes & Country Gravy, Green Beans, Homemade Wheat Bread, Banana Pudding with Nilla Wafers
Friday–Grilled Pork Chops, Baked Potatoes, Salad
Saturday-Beef, Bean & Cheese Enchiladas with Lettuce, Tomato, Sour Cream and Salsa
Sunday–Crockpot Lasagna, French Bread, Salad
