This year we are going to be attending our first Homeschool Convention. We are very excited, because although we have done some online conferences in the past, we have never been to a real, walk around, dream and drool convention.
I am not one to do things in a small way, so we decided to make our first convention the BIG one. Yes, that is right…we are going to the Midwest Convention in Cincinnati.
We spent this morning going over all of the different seminars and vocalizing which ones we want to attend. It didn’t take us too long to decide that we need to plan on purchasing the CD’s of all of the ones we want to go to. There are just too many great choices and there is no way we can be in several places at the same time. So purchasing the CD’s will enable us to make the most of the convention.
I have spent several hours looking over each of the websites for the various vendors so we can be sure to maximize our time and get to the ones that are the most important to us. I am pretty sure that even though I am preparing and preparing, that I am forgetting something.
So what kind of advice do you have for me? I am open to suggestions to make the most of this awesome opportunity.
