Welcome to the first day of Holiday Bliss 2010! I am so excited to share with you what we are all doing for the holiday season this year. It should be so much fun!
This year I am determined to have a most blissful holiday season. I am making a huge effort to create lots of opportunities for fun and service in our homeschool and family. What holiday season would be complete without something to countdown to Christmas? So this year, we have made a paper chain. But it isn’t just any old paper chain. It is a Christmas Countdown Scripture Chain.
We cut out pieces of red, green, and gold paper to make our chain. Then we pasted a bible scripture that has something to do with Christmas on each link in the chain. The idea is to open one link each day as a family and read the Christmas Bible scripture verse together. This will be a great way to remind us who this season is really about amidst all the fun.
If you would like to make one for your family, here are the Bible verses we used for our chain. These are also the order we are reading them in.
