First of all, I definitely would heed the rating of this movie. There are scenes of drug use and violence that should not be shown to young children. I would see it with my teens, and then have a discussion about those scenes. But just be aware that the rating of the movie is accurate and you will want to proceed with caution for your family if you have younger children.
We felt the movie was a bit slow, but well done. There was no glamorizing of the situation and it was very suspenseful as we watched. The big takeaway for us was that you don’t have to be perfect for God to use you. You just have to be willing and allow God to work through you. We did enjoy the movie and will watch it again.
