This is my final post for now about Prom. Of course, E has to be for elegant as that is what prom is all about, right?
Chandler got dressed and ready and was ready to go and pick up his date.
They stopped and allowed us to snap a few pictures before they headed off to the Grand March.
Here’s a look at their floral bling…
Of course we needed a shoe shot…I mean these shoes were made for dancing and all…
Then off we went to the Grand March. Here they are socializing before the big event took place.
Finally it was time for the Grand March. We tried to take some pics, but the professional photographer had it locked down and there were some mom-proof shields in place. So I do have the ones the photographer took that are watermarked. The kids were cute when they took their turn on the stage. They all posed and enjoyed their moment of being announced and presented. There was clapping for all of them as they each took their turns and there wre more cheers for the kids that were obviously more popular. When Chandler and Mary Ann were announced there was loud cheering from all over the theater. Chandler really enjoyed and appreciated the support from his friends. In discussing it, he said, “It’s like the whole town knows me and who I am.” It cracked us up.
Here are the pictures the professional photographer took. We are waiting for the actual pictures that were taken at the Prom. We are told it will be about 3 weeks. I’ll post those once we have them.
