Welcome to the first ever 5 Things Friday Linkup! I am so happy to create this linkup where we can all share 5 Things about anything we want. If you missed the post about the details of linking up, you can read it by clicking here. Pretty simple and straightforward. I like to keep things simple. 🙂
This week, I decided to share 5 of my Favorite Bath Products. (This post does contain some affiliate links.)
I thought it would be fun and who doesn’t have favorites when it comes to the bath and shower, right? I know I definitely have favorites that are important enough to me that my bath or shower just wouldn’t be the same without. So here they are in no particular order…
Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel–I Love, Love, LOVE this stuff! It lathers up so nicely and a little goes a long way. I use this almost daily in the shower. Sometimes, when I want head to toe scent, I also use it as my shampoo. It is just lovely. The scent is very feminine and not over powering at all. I feel girly and feel like I’ve done something nice for me and for my skin. This product can also double as a bubble bath for those times I just want to relax in some girly suds. This has been a favorite of mine for several years now and I always have it on hand.
Philosophy Unconditional Love Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel–This is a newer addition to my bath and shower routine. When I am not using the Amazing Grace scent, I use this one. I tried it last summer and I am totally hooked on this scent. It has a a berry vanilla sort of scent. Again, the scent is not overpowering at all and it is a great way to layer your fragrance if you so wish. This can also double as a bubble bath and a little goes a long way. I have also used it as a shampoo for head to toe scent. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and smelling yummy.
Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion (Hydrating)–This is one of those seasonal must have items for me here in Wyoming. My skin gets so dry during the winter. So I have found that using an in-shower body lotion is a must if I want to keep some moisture in my skin during these months. And honestly, I have been known to use the Hydrating formula year round. It is light and my skin just absorbs the moisture and keeps it for at least 24 hours. This is so simple to use. You just slather it on your skin after you have washed. Then rinse off. And then pat yourself dry. I also am a fan of the sea minerals and the scent the Hydrating formula offers. I have used the other variations successfully, but this one is my very favorite and the one I consistently keep on the shelf.
Paul Mitchell Lavender Mint Moisturizing Shampoo–I love, love, and just simply adore this shampoo. It smells divine, relaxes me when I am using it, and my hair is cleaned gently. It is safe for color treated hair. It works with my naturally curly hair and doesn’t over-dry it. My hair is left soft and bouncy. And did I mention how delicious the scent is? It is truly fabulous! I really feel all my stresses washing away as I rinse this from my hair. It makes me happy and is the shampoo I use almost daily. I get the big bottle with the pump each time because Gary loves this shampoo too. It’s good stuff.
Dr Teal’s Lavender Epsom Salts–When I am going to soak in a hot bath, I love to use Epsom salts. My absolute favorite kind to use is by Dr Teal. The Lavender ones or Soothe & Sleep, are the best! The scent is just right and you can totally relax and know you are doing something good for yourself as you soak away the stress of the day. I also love the bubble bath in the same flavor that includes the Epsom salt in it. That is a divine experience as well. In fact, my son often buys that bubble bath for his grandmother because she loves it so much too.
Can you tell I love bath products that make you feel good and relax you? What are some of your favorite bath products? Leave me a comment and share below.
