Today I am thankful for Panda.
When I first got her last year, she was just a baby. She liked to sleep on my chest while I worked.
She was tiny. It worked. But she grew and grew.
She was supposed to grow up to be a refined and princess dog. She was supposed to be clean.
Someone forgot to tell her that I guess. She likes to dig to China. Most Shih Tzus don’t dig. (As soon as I say ALL, someone will have a nut like mine. So we are being safe and saying MOST. No matter what the AKC breed sheet stated that I was given.)
Panda is a Tom Boy. She loves to play in the snow. And dig to China.
She is a proverbial Snow Dog at times. At least it isn’t mud this time.
She loves to romp and run and try to fly through the snow too. She’s a regular little athlete.
When it’s warm she likes to play King of the Mountain. Well, what she considers a mountain anyway…
Oh, did I mention she also likes to find MUD? I don’t understand her. Really.
But she’s mine. And she makes me laugh every single day. I’m thankful she’s part of my world, mud and all.
What are you thankful for today?
